We have ordered this model many times. My boys have XW shoes which are very hard to find. This style is fairly easy to do, except that the velcro on the new model is very strong, making it almost impossible for a child to untie and re-do it yourself. The older model has double velcro without the N logo. They work much better than this model. Even my 8 year old found it very difficult to deal with. If you're looking for a shoe that fits your child, look no further! I tested several styles with and without laces, tried the Nike Fly (which claims to be designed specifically for kids with special needs), and a few others. Nothing beats a pair of new XW scales.
