I used it on my horse to dry his sweat after winter rides. Unfortunately it didn't suit me for this purpose without having to use most of the bottle in 1 application. I can see how this would help with rain rot or scratches, but I would recommend only applying to a dry horse at first, which isn't always practical. I have used it on my dog to soothe some red itchy spots on his tummy. and even close a shallow wound on the tail. He used to lick his paws a lot so I sprinkled it between his toes and it helps a lot, I like that it's non-toxic if he decides to lick.
