It really is an unscented shampoo and conditioner. I liked that part, but this shampoo and conditioner didn't work for us. I have used it for myself and for my 3 year old. We both have fine wavy hair. This caused both of us to frizz and tangle our hair, making it very difficult to comb. No fun with a 3 year old even with detangling spray. My 3 year old daughter is very good with her hair but after using this set she fought back and said "Oh Mama". On the third day, the hair looks terrible. At first I thought maybe it's because I'm pregnant and I know hormones can make things weird, but the fact that they do this to my toddlers' hair makes me think differently. It also appears to cause more hair loss and breakage. Unfortunately, we're still looking for an unscented kit that doesn't damage our hair.
