When I bought it the description said it was a lumbar support. It's not like this. i love it anyway I think it really is memory foam. It feels bulky at first but quickly adapts to every curve of my back. This greatly reduced the vibrations of the car on my back. I wasn't hot at all. I like that the belt is adjustable, elastic and has a buckle. This makes it easy to put on and take off the headrest bucket seat. Fits perfectly on my 2018 Passat. I have osteochondrosis as well as herniated disc and arthritis. I took it on a very long journey and I believe it helped make the journey bearable along with other helpers, mods and rest stops.
