Received this a few days ago and it's a quality item that I should have used years ago. I have many speakers in my home theater system and will be upgrading to an Atmos receiver at some point in the future. I wanted to simplify the whole wiring process once and for all and decided on these open ended banana terminals. Personally I prefer the closed type but due to the lack of space I had to work with I opted for the open type and to be honest I'm very glad I did. Not that it makes a difference in performance and I find the closed design looks more professional when installed, but no one looks at the back of my big Yamaha amp anyway. In any case, it is a good choice for cleaning system wiring.
