These plugs offer excellent sound quality and a secure fit. They connect easily to speaker wire and connection to a speaker/receiver is quick and easy. The 5-pin terminals on my speakers are flat so the pin doesn't sit flush (see pictures) but they do sit flush with the receiver pins. When properly connected, the speaker cable will not slip out of the connector. I connected them to a Klipsch Reference Premier 5.1 system. They look great, much better than regular wire. They are also easy to use. Strip the wire, insert it into the base, fan out the wires around the top of the base, then screw the base into the banana plug. This will give you a strong and clean connection.
