Excellent DVD Player

I have replaced my second expensive, large and complex Panasonic DVD Recorder and Player with this small, light and inexpensive Magnavox unit. With today's internet and laptop, I no longer need a DVD burner. Few people know about Magnavox branded multimedia products (Philips and Sylvania) that they tend to offer buyers great bang for their buck. A few years ago, the Japanese electronics group Funai took over the American companies Magnavox, Philips and Sylvania. Funai owns and operates several heavy-duty factories outside of Japan. Under the Magnavox and Philips brand names, they sell high-quality multimedia devices at low prices. Don't let the cheap price fool you. Magnavox and Philips VHS-DVR combos are great buys. Visit the Internet TV Video Forum. You'll find that enthusiasts love the Magnavox brand and consistently prefer it to the much more expensive and fancy DVD recorders, DVD-VHS and DVR (computer hard drive) combos from Sony, Toshiba and Panasonic. Not for nothing. Funai products just work and they have been working for over a year which is not the case with expensive fashion brand products. As I expected, this Magnavox DVD player just works and works well. It brings great picture and sound from DVD movies to my 55 inch LG HDTV. The results I get with it are no different than what I get with Panasonic's much larger $400 DVD recorders, and the Magnavox isn't as picky. It reproduces a wide range of frequencies. store-bought and DIY video DVDs.
