One year update - I just pumped out my septic tanks (I have two) every two years (every two years). This time I had the pleasure of sticking my head in the septic tanks to see if they work. The septic works fine. Bio-Active deserves at least some credit. It's important to note that none of these products will stop you from regularly pumping out your septic tank. I've met several people who mistakenly believe that if you use any septic tank product, you don't need to pump out your septic tank. This is an expensive mistake! A year ago my septic tank came into my house (Ugh!). As with other reviewers, my septic tank company recommended Bio Active. I followed the directions and washed down 1 pack a month. A year has passed. While I haven't personally stuck my head in my septic tank to see if it works, there weren't any backups. I order for another year.
