It was fine for starters although it took up space under the sink. If I had known of any obvious issues before installing, I would have chosen a different product. The system draws water from the cold line to feed the system. The filtered water is then stored in a large drum. This takes up most of the installation space. Unfortunately, the whole process of water filtration means that it takes time for the filtered water to be ready to drink. During this process, the water is no longer cold. Another problem created by this system is that there is no infinite supply of filtered water. Since the water isn't cold, I bought several glass bottles to keep the filtered water in the fridge. But the drum can really only fill about 2 liters before it has to fill itself. Now to the real problems. After about 3 months a leak appeared in the faucet leading to the junction of 4 different pipes feeding the faucet through the drain hole. I had to replace the faucet. Today the water stopped flowing. I took the system apart to try and diagnose the problem. I thought it was the filter that needed replacing after the first 6 months. Go online to find filters that cost $100 each. Wow, that's a slap in the face. No filters bought and now I'm looking for a new filter system.
