While this product is the perfect width for very tight spaces I wouldn't call it easy to assemble. The pieces essentially come together with tension, power and prayer. You have to put these thin plastic caps on the ends of each metal rod and then insert the rod and clamp into the hole on the crossbar and then pray that all your rods are clamped to the same depth or the device will be very crooked. I pushed the poles into the holes as best I could, but worried that the shaky tension holding everything together would eventually fail. However, 3 weeks have passed and even with bottles of vegetable oil on it it stays in place. I'm keeping it to myself for now because it's so cheap and it feels like it sticks together, but I wouldn't buy another product with the same assembly method.
