My original remote had some buttons that no longer worked properly. This remote fixed it for me. When I first got it I programmed it into a Samsung TV and everything worked fine. Then I noticed that to increase or decrease the volume by more than one notch at a time, I had to press the volume button multiple times. I tried another code and now the volume keeps increasing or decreasing when the keys are held down. So the problem was the code I dialed, not the remote. I'm buying another one for my other TV as it doesn't work either.
