Review on TP-Link EAP245 V3: Omada AC1750 High-performance Access Point by Corey Burgess

Forget consumer goods. Use this for your home.

I recently ditched my consumer mesh network in favor of a pfsense home router and added these APs along with an OC200 for management. I have to say that the updated firmware offers fantastic Wi-Fi management. Guest configuration, including setting up a basic authorized portal and VLANs, is very simple. The signal in my house has never been better. I have 3 access points covering 3 floors with no problems. Stability seems stable so far. Will be updated over time. With the OC200 you can easily manage your WLAN. The stability is fantastic and the speed is still stable. Rooftop APs are still better than cellular satellites located in different rooms. Setting up the VLAN and configuring the guest WiFi of the authorized portal was easy. I'd still like some additional URLs for reports and block functionality at some level. By the way, people complain about the inability to get 300mg at close range. I get 350 pinned. I'm now about 10 feet from one of my hotspots. My suggestion to them might be to look for a better router or ISP. . I should be closer to the gig with CAT 6e cable and GS108PEv3 (Powered Switch). The best I can get is 400MB right under the hotspot. More to come.20/27/2020Can't find where my network is being throttled. Of course, apart from adding a competitor's access point, I should have more than 300 MB. The POE switch is a GS108PEv3, I have a router with 1GB ports (the physical connection is approaching 1GB) and category 6e cables everywhere. I'm assuming it has something to do with the AP. Tech support sucks for lack of better words. (Thanks for the prepared FAQ which was useless.) Stability is great, but this issue needs to be addressed.
