Review on Crystal Stainless Platinum Israeli Personnas by Karla Kennedy

I've shaved since high school and switched to safety razors in college to try different brands. packed up. Since then I have ordered them several times and am delighted every time I shave. The blades stay sharp much longer than any other razor I've tried, sometimes I can shave 3-4 times with the blade but it gets a little rough towards the end. I have no problem shaving, once I have allowed myself to grow a small beard the shave is still clean and smooth. If you want to shave a longer beard, I would use a new blade for that. For me, shaving is effortless, no effort required, just the weight of the razor. As far as cuts and cuts go, I'm not sure if I just have thicker skin, but for the most part I didn't cut myself too badly. If I do, it's more like razor mishandling than an overly sharp blade. On the other hand, my two brothers tried these blades and both reported cutting their faces. So I would say it depends on your skin type and how experienced you are with a safety razor. As for the quality issues that some other people have been talking about, this is what I noticed recently. I don't know if they changed where these razors are made, but every once in a while you get a blade that isn't as sharp on one side, or part of the blade isn't sharp. I don't have a huge problem with this as I only use the other side, it's awkward but I like the blades so I'm willing to deal with it. Just be warned.
