Measure your child. beautiful coat

I ordered it for my 7 year old. I recommend you actually measure your child as directed in the size chart, which is what I did. If I chose the small ones shown in the graphic it would be 8 or so, it probably wouldn't be big enough. This is what I would normally order, but since they explain sizes by sizes I took an extra step. Having done that, I decided to choose an environment for my son that would be 10/12. If you don't measure your child and just deviate from the typical size you're used to when you buy it, you're probably going to order a little too small. Everyone has a different size or idea of what size is, so I really appreciate the size chart. Anyway for my 7 year old son who is quite tall for his age the medium is perfect with a little more room to grow. This is a well tailored jacket and a really classy look. Very warm, zipper works. (Zippers can make or break a jacket if you're wearing a cheap one). You can adjust the wrist area to make it a little narrower. Inside there is a pocket for things. This is not a snowboard jacket as it does not have a protective piece at the bottom to prevent snow from entering. Just in case you're thinking, the jacket's name implies it is. We are very happy with this jacket but please follow the instructions and measure your child so you are not disappointed. Or just order one size larger than usual.
