Built a PC for a friend in a medium/small form factor case with a Ryzen 3600 in the Hope the cooling would be good with minimal noise. I have years of experience building PCs. Unfortunately, the fan is too loud under full load, temperatures quickly reach 75Β°C. I can't reduce the fan speed as it would cause thermal throttling and performance degradation at around 80C. Don't even think about applying this to processors with a stronger core. I've tried remounting/reapplying the thermal paste twice (because it can be a common problem) to no avail. I'm a bit disappointed - it's not a bad product but I would only recommend it for colder temperatures. powerful AM4 processors.
