I just saw Dark Waters, a film about DuPont's poisoning and killing of people with Teflon for about half a century. If you don't believe me, watch and do your research. The next day I ditched all my Teflon and other "non-stick" pots and pans and bought a cast iron skillet. I am very surprised that she is better than us. It was. When handled correctly (instructions included) food won't stick to it at all, it's very durable, inexpensive and the weight helps give excellent even temperatures. Our eggs and pancakes are better now. And they have a nice traditional/craft look too! Much nicer than toxic substances. Every kitchen has one.
