Launch 429 was purchased for personal use and small workshop jobs. It hasn't shown any problems on any of the cars I've worked on. Over the last few months I've been looking at a range of brands and models to see which would suit me best at an advanced level given the reasonable price. I finally settled on this one because it was around $300 at the time of purchase and so far I am very happy that I have one that can meet my needs for further work on some new cars. I've been working on cars for years and have used tool stands that cost ten times the price and perform half the functions this one has, it has every make I can think of and more, lots of function testing, live data and the configuration certain components when replacing. Great diagnostic tool! I never write reviews but decided to write one because I'm impressed with the performance of this tool and way more than I expected would definitely buy another one. I have yet to move beyond American cars (I just don't have one), have yet to fully explore what this car is capable of, but I'm very happy with what I own and helping with the work.
