I waited a while (okay a month) to get this done because a lot of the reviews said it broke and the battery didn't work. Well mine was great. I took it on a hike 3 times and played golf once. These 100+ degree days were awesome and unfortunately I'm my father's daughter and have his terrible sweat gene! (Ew) Anyway, I charged it fully when I first got it and honestly haven't had to charge it since. and I use it for hours on the highest settings. To answer some of the other mentions in other reviews, yes it's just a fan and it blows hot air when it's hot. I found one of those cold rags that is worn around the neck and then I put on a fan to keep the air cool and I was cool! That's incredible. But when I don't have a bandage around my neck, it's just nice to have a breeze. It attracts your body heat so it can be quite warm. I hung it on a golf cart while playing golf and that was great too, I just need to be close. It feels a little clunky at first, but it's like wearing a pair of large headphones and it was worth it as I don't like carrying a fan in my hands. I have poor hearing, but I usually hear through them at high speed and have normal conversations. But you can definitely hear them perfectly at low settings. The sound is pretty soothing to me, although it's not annoying or anything, it's just sort of a hum. I also like that my hair doesn't get pulled in. I have long hair and I've used it with loose and loose hair. I've slept with him on my neck while camping and he never pulled his hair out! If you are an overly sweaty person who is always hot like me, you need this amazing gadget! I wasn't friendly to them either. Throw them in, throw them in camping gear, bag and all and they haven't had any breakage or problems.
