I installed these very simple clamps on my car and they worked as promised but they almost completely exposed the seals on my car. I had to tape up the rubber grommet they were under so I could even hear the radio. I bought these with a cargo bag to use with or without a shelf and to be honest if I had known they were that secure I would have gone for a cheaper bag as I ended up missing the internal straps removed the ones that came with the bag and used only those. I had to deduct having to wrap my whole car in duct tape and make it look casually rigged just because it would be difficult to remove all that stickiness lol.
