Fits VERY snugly best for vacuum and dust bag accessories
Bought because it was advertised as a washable/reusable filter. the inner diameter of the filter is too small (compared to another replacement filter 17816 I bought earlier). I had to put some dish soap on the mating surfaces to attach it to the flange under vacuum (I have two old Craftsman wet/dry vacuums, both were very tight). Since it is a washable/reusable filter, I also made sure to remove it without damaging it. Be careful to hold the rubber piece next to the mounting flange - if you try to remove it from the other end you will damage the filter.
