I saved money to buy parts for custom assembly. I bought this HD in December. There were problems with the installation. The hard drive has more than 4 GB of unused space and needs to be partitioned. Since I had to buy piece by piece, my warranty has expired. I understand it's crap when it comes to computer parts, but it has to be a brand new HD. Seagate has a pretty good reputation when it comes to HD, so that surprised me. I will no longer buy parts here, I will use my local Micro Center. At least their parts are selling as advertised. Not after repair, it is sold as NEW. At least fraud and false advertising.
