The shoe fits as expected if you have trouble putting your feet in with a shoehorn. The laces are only spruce. The tongue and opening aren't very stretchy and for my size 13 male feet, it was really difficult to finally get my feet in. The fit is snug, almost like a glove, which is comfortable when running because you don't want to move too much and you have plenty of room around your toes. The problem I see is that tightness around the upper and heel can cause friction burns at the entrance of the shoe. You might also think that the cushioning sole design would be springy the full length of the shoe, but surprisingly, that's not the case. It may feel a little springy for the toes and arch, but normal walking is uncomfortable as the heel flattens out with no springy or cushioning effect. THIS IS CRAZY BECAUSE I WEIGHT 330 lbs! Time will tell and it definitely looks good and goes well with the color ensemble.
