This item fits my desktop PC perfectly. After my ethernet port died, I was only able to use Wi-Fi, but the speed was a bit slow at times. Since I bought the Syntech network adapter, the speed is as good or even better than before. I've also used this with my Nintendo Switch and it works great too. I like that this item doesn't have a built-in USB cable, since such devices often fail. You can always get a USB2 extension cable if you don't need to plug it in directly, but it plugs straight into my computer and switches easily.
