My Linksys wireless USB adapter works pretty well, except that it's a bit weak in signal reception. I'm using it on a Dell desktop to connect a Linksys wireless router system in the next room. I'm surprised it only gets four out of five signal strength bars. My roommate also uses one and has the same problem. In comparison, my laptop with a built-in WLAN card always gets five bars in the same place. However, the adapter receives a signal without any problems and the connection only needs to be reestablished every now and then. Overall I'd say this card should do a little better for a Linksys product. But I'm happy with it and I'm sticking with it.
