I needed an adapter to put a 2.5" SSD in my Supermicro SYS-5015A-EHF- D525 1U server to install. The mounting holes on the server are for the four bottom (not side) screw holes of a 3.5 inch hard drive. This bracket has threaded holes in the receiving area, making it almost effortless to install the SSD into this server. Last time I did, I had to drill holes in the case to install the SSD. The attached photo shows the bracket in my Supermicro server. I have built many computers over the past 43 years, so I value good accessories that make my life easier. This mount is the best 2.5 to 3.5 adapter I have ever used. I plan to buy another one soon to install two SSDs in the tower of my home tech workstation.
