Review on Seagate ST500LM000 SSHD 500GB: Faster Storage with Solid State Hybrid Technology by Jeremy Choi

After installation seemed a little sluggish. It came in bubble wrap and sealed with anti-static material. Not what I would have expected from an advertised new product. I went to the comments section to find out that a lot of people are complaining that this isn't new. So my suspicion that it wasn't working properly was justified. It's already installed so I don't want to return it, but I felt cheated because I saw the word "new" somewhere in the description. hope it lasts I'll create a disk image just in case.
