I bought this item specifically to charge my iPhone while I work in the living room but I think it's a great idea to use it for meetings and conferences as well. The sound quality is excellent. UPDATED 7/4/2021. Some unfamiliar neighbors or someone within range just connected to bluetooth and woke me up a couple of times in the middle of the night. You may have done this accidentally or on purpose, but this should never happen on a secure device. All they have to do is go to their mobile phone > Bluetooth > click on the device name to pair it. You don't have to do anything on the device itself. That's very unsafe. I downgraded my rating from 5 to 1 star. I have to turn it off for the night before I go to bed. I don't know yet if this leads to another security issue.
