I bought this remote to replace the original remote that came with my 49" Toshiba Fire TV as several reviews suggested it was becoming less and less out of sight slipped. Not so; anyway it's smaller! It's easier to use; The mute button is much more accessible and very responsive. However, every time I use it, it works great and my selected program plays for maybe two minutes, then quits and "No remote detected" comes up on the screen. This happens every time I use it, and even though the show always goes on when I click OK, it's a major annoyance. I leave it as a last resort but it's a disappointment.
