These arrived with the goo leaked out all over the inside of the bag. And a couple were already pushed in, rendering them useless. But I needed them to fix cuts in my Landroid wire so I used them, and they worked like a charm! I was impressed by the fact that once I clamped them closed with pliers, more goo came out of the holes, sealing them perfectly. I am a happy customer and would buy these again. I assume the clear "goo" is a Vaseline-like petrolatum grease that'll keep the holes and wires dry. Time will tell! I buried them a few inches and added spikes near them to keep them low. Fingers crossed!
