So far this tricycle has proven itself to us. My daughter can't reach the pedals yet, but she enjoys riding it around the neighborhood and often prefers it to her stroller. I also get a lot of compliments from other parents. I really like the little pocket and basket on the back - very handy. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect 5 stars is because I think the footrest could be improved. Due to the position of the footstool, her feet sometimes slip and get stuck under the footstool, causing her discomfort and damaging the front of her sneakers. However, after this happened the first few times, she quickly learned to keep her feet out of the way. I hope that next spring she will be able to use it like a real tricycle!
