To be honest I don't understand why I can't buy a good old fashioned fly swatter with a thick wire handle. The price isn't really a problem. I just want the quality of my previous fly swatter. In any case. They looked pretty good, but they have problems. Telescoping sounded cool, plus it makes the grip stronger/less flexible right? Well, that's correct, except it means the head rotates slightly. This means that you don't hit the fly at all, instead you hit the edge of the fly where the fly was. Useless. I don't know how many flies a particular fly swatter needs to kill before it breaks, but not many for this one. A few weeks later the first head broke. They still get a few points for value just because they seem to be the best I've found so far that aren't $8 or more each.
