It is very beautiful and simple. I liked how long the original batteries lasted. (Two months or three? Decent considering I had plenty of time.) Today I swapped out the batteries for Duracell batteries I just bought from the local pharmacy chain so they weren't old, seconds etc. At the Trying to put the cover back on, I noticed - thank goodness! - that everything got very hot and there was a smell that wasn't there. I pulled out the batteries and the middle one was so hot it burned my fingers and melted the case. If I had gone and left that, there would have been a fire. BE CAREFUL!
