Review on Haviland 02336NCL Neoprene Petroleum Resistant Standard by Carmen Rosario

I have an epoxy floor in my garage and it is very handy to be able to clean the floor after the cars got stuck in a pile of snow, dirt and mud. For the past 5 years I've been using a cheap double foam scraper from a local store and it works well. I decided to try a larger scraper to speed up the process and the curved design seemed like a good idea. Haviland mops are typically made in the USA, so that was a big draw. I ordered this scraper and paired it with a Rubbermaid Commercial FG635200NAT polished wood handle. The grip was perfect. However, there was no mop. The mop did not dry the floor. No matter what angle or how hard I squeezed, the water just seeped under the wiper. It was basically useless. I crouched down and examined the mop, rotating it at different angles. Regardless of the angle, I could always see the light under the squeegee edge. Apparently it's not straight through the floor. The rubber is too stiff to push hard enough to constantly bridge the gap. Even more satisfying, I found that the scraper worked fantastically, removing 2 inches of snow from the sidewalk and driveway. That's why it got 2 stars.
