Review on πŸš— BMLEI Genuine Leather Steering Wheel Cover: Anti-Slip, Soft Padding, Universal 15 Inch – A Must-Have Auto Car Accessory! by David Olson

Skin looks and feels good; Blunt needles make assembly difficult.

Set of leather steering wheel covers. The leather was nice and soft, and the perforations made it more attractive than a plain non-perforated leather steering wheel cover. However, the needles were blunt, making it impossible to pierce the skin. I wrote to the sellers but the problem wasn't solved because they said they couldn't replace the needles. I'm not sure what the native language of the representative(s) is, but the written answers were unclear. Eventually I found other needles that I could use to sew leather. The photo shows (above 2) the blunt needles included in the kit and the sharper threaded needle (below) purchased for this job. Bottom line: if you want to attach the wheel cover by simply sewing on threads that are already sewn to the skin, this is a possibility. But I found it awkward and unattractive. Overall, the leather is nice and supple, and the thread feels strong, so a wheel cover should do the trick. You may need to be prepared to buy spare needles that can really sew the leather if you decide to use this method for a more finished look.
