For me, finding my next role was incredibly difficult.
Finding a job that matched my skillset and interests was impossible, so I was frustrated when I couldn’t find anything. I decided to start looking myself because I didn’t want to end up stuck in a job that I hated and was miserable in. I went through countless LinkedIn searches, sent CVs and had interviews, but nothing seemed to be going anywhere. I felt like I was getting nowhere fast, so I thought I would give hiring managers a try! When I came across TheLions, I instantly knew that it was something that I needed to look into further. As soon as I signed up, I got access to a whole bunch of new companies, each of which was sending me personalised messages about roles available in my area. It was super convenient to sign up and get connected straight away. Once I did, I got a list of every single role that they could offer, which included everything from entry level to senior management positions. This gave me an incredible amount of choice, and it made the whole process so much easier. I could choose the type of role that I wanted, whether it be full-time or freelance, and even if it was within a certain industry.
