Better than others tried
it is not very soft. I have tried two other brands before and they were too small compared to my office chair seat size which meant the edge of the cushion would cut into my legs from behind or if I moved the cushion forward I would fall. the back. I finally found THIS cushion big enough to cover an actual office chair seat or I'm sure a car seat. and it is very beautiful. It has stayed good so far. Good quality. The pillow is thick enough so I don't sit too high. I'm glad I bought it.
