Review on New Balance Womens Minimus Running Women's Shoes and Athletic by Megan Hartman

I always liked everything about them

I've been a firm believer in New Balance's minimalist shoes for years. I've ridden them for hundreds and hundreds of miles with no problems. I've always loved everything about them, the last pair I had turned into rags because I loved them so much I never wanted a pair again. These shoes are terrible. Absolutely terrible. A hard plastic bar sits just above the thickest part of a person's foot. Always an 8.5 normal in New Balance, I finally felt comfortable enough to order a pair online. Big mistake. Now I can't even return them and they cost me over $100. They make my pinky lose all feeling before the first mile. The bar also kind of pushes your foot toward the front of the shoe so your big toe is now pressed against the top of the shoe that should fit, making it feel like it doesn't fit. I am extremely disappointed in this shoe as well as my painful loss of over $100. Do yourself a favor and ditch those shoes.
