Order 1/2 size better in shoes

I agree with many other reviews, order 1/2 size larger. Look at my photo, I have experience with these shoes (that's not all). I have always worn a size 9 in all NB Minimus shoes and have not found another shoe that can compete with that. However, they are too short in length. I liked the grey/orange pair the best and they look the most like this new model. Some reviewers say the band was too tight at the top. I don't think it's just the length. Hope that helps. I swap for 9.5. That's the only…

my favorite sneakers

I love the fit, the comfort, the looks and everything about shoes. I don't like that New Balance discontinued this style so I need to find another company that can make a similar product. It was the best NB shoe ever made by New Balance before it was discontinued. I don't like any other New Balance styles nor plan on buying them unless they start making the same Minimus style again. I hope to return to the company once they start making these quality shoes again. No other athletic shoe from NB…

Bad for the bones. - Running

I thought these shoes would be great for ironing. They are shaped like a foot, with a wide tip at the toe of the shoe. Tapered shoes and the resulting displacement of the big toe are at the root of bursitis and its progression. So I thought great, they'll be painless. Well, they didn't press on my fingertip, which caused a chain reaction of pain in the bone. No, they went straight to bursitis instead. Now I have a very slight bump, it's almost invisible, it doesn't stick out at all, but there's

I always liked everything about them

I've been a firm believer in New Balance's minimalist shoes for years. I've ridden them for hundreds and hundreds of miles with no problems. I've always loved everything about them, the last pair I had turned into rags because I loved them so much I never wanted a pair again. These shoes are terrible. Absolutely terrible. A hard plastic bar sits just above the thickest part of a person's foot. Always an 8.5 normal in New Balance, I finally felt comfortable enough to order a pair online. Big…

This style is one of the best I've ever had

This style is one of the best I've ever had, probably the best. Due to a genetic condition that causes my connective tissue to be very loose, I have trouble finding shoes that don't hurt my feet. I want a shoe that doesn't have a drop and fits the foot, not the shoe. These are incredibly comfortable shoes but look like regular tennis shoes. I came across this shoe a few years ago and wore it until it fell apart. It has held up very well considering how many times I've worn it. I couldn't find…

One of the best shoes for minimalist running

These shoes run a little small, so I recommend ordering half a size up. I usually wear women's shoes a size 6.5 and after reading other reviews I ordered a size 7 for these shoes. They fit me like a 6.5 so I'm glad I ordered half a size up. I would also like to mention that I am a runner. I've run nearly three dozen marathons, eight 50-mile races and one 100-mile race. I take my shoes very seriously. I usually wear Vibram FiveFingers for running, but living in cold conditions many months of the
