I have a touch lamp of the same style and production (3 different brightness levels - 1 per touch) and the brightest one is brighter than this one turned all the way around. Both have the same nuances. In fact, the only difference is that it has a dial instead of a touch one and 2 slots for phones. I bought this to replace the Touch version because after moving it either got damaged somehow (although I put it in the original packaging and another well padded box) or there is something in my building that is causing this that it turns on, cycles through three levels of brightness, then turns off and repeats. But I LOVE the look of these lamps, I'm just not sure if there are other lamp options that could be brighter.
