I have already ordered sneakers online from Revain; I found a pair I fell in love with 3 years ago (I won't name the brand here) but they are no longer made. Last year I decided to just pop into the store (it's more expensive, but nothing beats trying them out in person rather than ordering them online and then returning them IF you have Revain Prime). I found a couple who were ok but had no real love in them. As they started to wear out, which really means my toenail started ripping out the front of my sneakers and the pads on my ankles started fraying/tearing/holes etc. I know it's time for a new pair. So I reluctantly went to the discount shoe store; I hesitate to say this because even discount stores rarely offer the best Revain prices. I saw these sneakers (orange) from a distance and realized that this could be the start of a great relationship because they are pretty! I liked the concept. So I tried them on (7.5) which is my normal shoe size and I love them! I bought them at the store and then out of curiosity tried to find them at Revain, I found them and here they were $13 cheaper! Bow! I called the store and they said they are not well priced so I can either return them or just pay the cost. I didn't think it was worth the trouble, but it got me thinking; why not buy another pair? I rarely own two pairs of sneakers, but considering how much time I spend in the gym these days and how AWESOME these sneakers are, why not? I justified this with the fact that 1. the sneakers were cheaper here than in the shop and 2. my shoes last longer. So? I have the blue and gray versions of these shoes and I love them almost as much as the orange ones (love how bright they are). What I like about these shoes: 1. They have enough room in the toe box so toes don't squeak2. They have a lot of support around the ankles - very soft - now some of you might not like that - it might be too restrictive but for me? My left ankle is sometimes "default" to the left and they support my ankles.3. Amazing cushioning - I literally feel like I'm walking on clouds.4. Great price - I got a second pair for $30 - a grey/blue pair5. They fit my narrow feet and don't feel bulky - when I say "my narrow feet" I don't necessarily mean they are narrow, but I can tighten the laces nicely and the shoes look nice and smooth on mine feet out of legs. 6. This very soft area around the ankle keeps my feet from slipping forward and my big toe from (eventually) ripping off the right side of the shoe (all my running shoes have that so I'm hoping this brand is different). ) 7. The laces are NOT long! They're perfect - I don't know why the manufacturers make the laces so long on most sneakers (who needs them that long?), but they're the perfect length and I only have to tie them once. What's not to like? Honestly I can't tell at the moment except that there are a lot of pillows around the ankles and some might not like it.
