Review on πŸ› Step-On Tub Closure: Effortlessly Sealing Your Bath with Foot Activation by Angela Murphy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Enjoy. Me and I will buy two. (actually, read on)

This is a genuine OEM part. It is a chrome plated brass top, plastic body and brass screw on the bottom. Buy two. This is the one to buy and I don't remain so lighthearted. I've bought several devices for sale, including some that are commonly sold in large hardware chains. The WATCO unit is EXACTLY the unit that originally came with the shower. All the others I've worked with or bought were copies with plastic covers, spare-size screws (that want to stay in the shower faucet (receiver) when you try to remove the body) or other imperfections (weak, etc.) Read all other reviews I have done) and none of them match the quality of this OEM part. Let me repeat, this is an OEM part, metal cover, solid brass screw, etc. Enjoy. I will buy two more for backup. This is an update, I just bought two more and have two installed now. The quality is so good that the "PUSH" movement seems to be aligned exactly perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tub after the block has been firmly seated. This quality is created from scratch. I think these are Americans assembled from components made in Thailand, Taiwan, the US and, yes, China. However, the quality control is American and it is very high quality for the price. Do not be shy! Just make sure the screw size is correct. 3/8" looks like 3/8". 5/16" is more like 1/4".

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
