Any of those cheap engine compression testers I buy always suck. Are they checked at all before packing? Or do they think they are doing the right thing? Not accurate at all, spend the extra money and buy a compression tester that works. I screwed it up good and made sure everything was tight and several engines are showing inaccurate readings below 50psi when the engine starts and runs fine. If the compression is below 50psi then it is very likely that the engine will never start because the compression is too low or it will be very difficult to start, so I know this compression tester is the problem. Instead it's worth spending the extra money to buy a BlueDriver as I'm tired of receiving faulty or inaccurate compression testers and returning them. Save yourself the headache.
