Great necklace design! The diffuser and chain are designed so that the chain and necklace cannot come apart from each other. The entire chain is about 36 inches long, so can fit easily over the head without messing with any clasps. Then you slide the diffuser and the stop-bead under it up toward you to the distance you want from your face. The chain ends which fall below the diffuser have well-fixed rhinestones at the ends, making a nice look with the shiny chain and diffuser. Great for anyone who has trouble with getting clasps done or undone. And just a nice look, period.Two come in an order, which makes a nice gift, or the ability to switch out 2 main scents.My only concern is that the diffuser is only sterling silver plated, and the material the chain is made of is not mentioned. This is a potential problem because essential oils will cause other metals to corrode. Complicating this is the difficulty in cleaning the chain, which runs through the middle of the diffuser, against the essential oil pad. I simply don't know how long these will last -- maybe weeks, maybe years. The design would be greatly improved by making the entire product out of sterling silver, but then it would also cost about 4-5 times more.I'm prepared for a short use life, but will probably buy another set to use when my original ones wear out, just because I love the style that's unique from other diffuser necklaces I've found. I really hate clasps.
