I've been using this for a year now and it's a great little stud finder. It's easy to use, works well, and is more accurate than previous stud finders I have used. It's also very helpful that it marks the center of the stud and not the ends; this alone has helped me put fewer holes in walls when I need to mount or hang things. I just moved into an older house with plaster and it is having some difficulty. I'm not sure if that's common for any stud finder on plaster walls or if I just need to tinker with different settings. On drywall, you'll have no problems.
