We bought this tent bed for my 9 year old who shares a bedroom with his 5 year old brother. He needs privacy and personal space, and that's PERFECT. It was very easy to set up, fits perfectly in the frame and the mattress inside keeps it from moving. It's very dark inside when everything is closed and light when the holes are open! As I said, my intention was just to give him some privacy and OWN space. We actually have both, plus: a stronghold, a quiet area, security for special items, and all sorts of buildings for imaginative play. Absolutely 100% recommended. In fact I have already booked a second tent for my little brother in the common room. This is the best compromise when separate rooms are not possible. I wish I had one of these during army field missions!
