The installation was a bit tricky in my application. I used it on a pressure washer and there was an engine drain. Surprise surprise. at the bottom of the engine leaving no room for a valve larger than the OEM drain plug. I lifted the engine (the injection pump was bolted to the engine, so it also lifted a bit). As soon as I did that the valve screwed in and worked great.
