I was surprised how loud it is and can be used as a speaker for music players. The included headset worked better, probably because it's directional, than the smaller mic I bought as a spare since I didn't want to use a headset. I would like it to be a clip-on rather than a headset as I plan to use it for presentations. With the included headset, there was little noise other than my voice, and there was no creaking. But when I used the small microphone, it often squeaked so loudly that my ears couldn't hear anything for minutes. Neither product is to blame, but they just weren't made for each other. I will recommend this to a friend. Also for the costumes it will be fun.
