This is something really good to have in your kids room. I wanted this to have peace of mind.But for me I just couldn't figure it out. There is an on and off switch. When it's off, it does nothing. When you switch on, it beeps 2x and then a LOUD alarm goes off. When i say loud, its loud. There is no way you can miss the sound. There is no switch to press to change the sound, i don't see how doorbell option works as you push and push down and nothing nor does the center button move.I put the other part on the right, then on the left and nothing works. I did end up removing from window because it just doesn't work for me. No matter what u do the alarm just doesn't shut off.
