Can only be used for very small stains. Like a quarter size. They only use their solution, no water. I wanted to clean the sofa, but I can't. Not cleaning the whole couch. The solution (about 12 ounces) will spray out in about 30 seconds, then vacuum it up. To craft a couch you would need maybe 5 large containers of their solution. Without water there was no feeling at all that it cleans. If your house is only a quarter the size, instead of spending $90 on something that doesn't actually work, just use a little scream and rag. Disappointed because I've liked other Hoover products.
