Does what I need

To be honest I can't say it's been tested for liquid yet, but I've seen a lot of reviews saying it's perfect. What I was looking for was a barrier that doesn't heat up, make noise, or slide off. All of this is wonderful. And while it's soft, it's not "soft" but I didn't need it as I put an extra mattress pad on top of the thickness I needed, but that's not a barrier. And because of the texture of this pad, the extra pad is almost non-slip. It would be great if the barrier never had to be tested but I'm sure it will hold up so is perfect for my needs.
